Greatness of Gaya:

1. Gaya Overview

(Penance of Gayasura, Gayasura offering body for Yagna, Dharma Shila on Gayasura, Yagna of Brahma on Gayasura, Gadadhara on Gayasura, Gadadhara as Phalgu-Teertha with devas, Sharaddha and Pinda-Dana in Gaya.)

(The Gada was made by Vishwakarma with the bones of demon Gada. Lord Vishnu wielded it to kill demon Heti and became known as Gadadhara. Later on, Lord Vishnu stood on the Dharma Shila with that Gada to make Gayasura steady. Thereby he became known as Adi-Gadadhara.)
