उग्रं वीरं महाविष्णुं ज्वलन्तं सर्वतोमुखम्
नृसिंहं भीषणं भद्रं मृत्योर् मृत्युं नमाम्यहम्
Om Ugram Viiram Mahaa-Vissnnum Jvalantam Sarvato-Mukham |
Nrsimham Bhiissannam Bhadram Mrtyor Mrtyum Namaamy[i-]Aham ||

Meaning:
1: Om, To that form of Lord Maha-Vishnu; Which is Ugra (Ferocious) and Vira (Exhibiting great Prowess); And which is like a Blazing Fire facing all Directions,
2: To that form of Lord Nrisimha; Who is Vishana (Terrifying) but Bhadra (Auspicious); Who is the Death of Death; I Bown down to that Form.
