ततः सप्तम आकूत्यां रुचेर्यज्ञोऽभ्यजायत ।
स यामाद्यैः सुरगणैरपात्स्वायम्भुवान्तरम् ॥१.

Tatah Saptama Aakuutyaam Rucer-Yajnyo
[a-A]bhyajaayata |
Sa Yaama-Adyaih Sura-Gannair-Apaat-Svaayambhuva-Antaram ||1.3.12 ||
Meaning:
1: Then, in the
Seventh in the line (of Incarnations), the Lord
incarnated from
Akuti and
Prajapati Ruchi, and was known as
Yajna,
2: He
ruled during the
period of
Swayambhuva Manu with the help of
Yama,
Suras and
others.
