Therefore seeing the child image of Ramalala which Jatadhari served, awakened the maternal affection towards the divine child. Sri Ramakrishna became anxious to be initiated by a Guru in a Mantra befitting that mood. Jatadhari came to know of the eagerness of Sri Ramakrishna and gladly initiated him in the Mantra of his chosen Ideal. Sri Ramakrishna became absorbed in the meditation of Ramalala in the mood of maternal affection towards him.
