Manvantaras

(Vishnu Purana - Amsha 3 - 1)

1. Swayambhuva Manvantara: (Swayambhuva Manu was created by Lord Brahma)
- Incarnation: Yajna
- Saptarshis: Bhrigu, Pulastya, Pulaha, Kratu, Angiras, Marici, Daksha, Atri and Vasishtha
- Devas: Yamas
- Sons: Priyavrata, Uttanapada
- Daughters: Prasuti, Akuti

2. Swarocisha Manvantara: (Swarocisha Manu descended from Priyavrata)
- Incarnation: Ajita along with Tushita devas, sons of Tushita
- Saptarshis: Urja, Stambha, Prana, Dattoli, Rishabha, Nishcara and Arvarivat
- Devas: Paravatas, Tushitas with king Vipashcit
- Sons: Caitra, Kimpurusha and others

3. Auttami Manvantara: (Auttami Manu descended from Priyavrata)
- Incarnation: Tushita was born as Satya
- Saptarshis: Seven sons of Vasishtha
- Devas: Sudhamas, Satyas, Shivas, Pradarshanas and Vasavartis; Indra was Sushanti
- Sons: Aja, Parashu, Divya and others

4. Tamasa Manvantara: (Tamasa Manu descended from Priyavrata)
- Incarnation: Satya became Hari
- Saptarshis: Jyotirdhama, Prithu, Kavya, Caitra, Agni, Vanaka and Pivara
- Devas: Surupas, Haris, Satyas and Sudhis; Indra was Shibi
- Sons: Nara, Khyati, Santahaya, Jenujangha and others

5. Raivata Manvantara: (Raivata Manu descended from Priyavrata)
- Incarnation: Hari as Sambhuti and Manasa
- Saptarshis: Hiranyaroma, Devashri, Urdhabahu, Vedabahu, Sudhaman, Parjanya and Mahamuni
- Devas: Amitabhas, Abhutarajasas, Vaikunthas and Sumedhasas; Indra was Vibhu
- Sons: Balabandhu, Susambharu, Satyaka and others

6. Cakshusha Manvantara:
- Incarnation: Vaikuntha from Vikunthi
- Saptarshis: Sumedhas, Virajas, Havismat, Uttama, Madhu, Abhinaman and Sahishnu
- Devas: Adyas, Prastutas, Bhavyas, Prithugas and Lekhas; Indra was Manojava
- Sons: Uru, Puru, Satadyumna and others

7. Vaivasvata Manvantara: (Vaivasvata Manu was the Son of Surya deva)
- Incarnation: Vamana
- Saptarshis: Vasishtha, Kashyapa, Atri, Jamadagni, Gautama, Vishwamitra and Bharadwaja
- Devas: Adityas, Vasus and Rudras; Indra is Purandara
- Sons: Ikshwaku, Nabhaga, Dhrishta, Sanyati, Narishyanta, Nabhanidishta, Karusha, Prisadhra and Vasumat

8. Savarni Manvantara:
- Saptarshis: Diptimat, Galava, Rama, Kripa, Drauni, Vyasa, Rishyashringa
- Devas: Sutapas, Amitabhas and Mukhyas; Indra is Bali, the son of Virochana
- Sons: Virajas, Arvarivas, Nirmoha and others

9. Daksha-Savarni Manvantara:
- Saptarshis: Savana, Dyutimat, Bhavya, Vasu, Madhatithi, Jyotishman and Satya
- Devas: Paras, Maricigarbhas and Sudharmas; Indra is Adbhuta
- Sons: Dhritaketu, Panchahasta, Niramaya, Prithishrava and others

10. Brahma-Savarni Manvantara:
- Saptarshis: Havishman, Sukriti, Satya, Apamurti, Nabhaga, Apratimaujas and Satyaketu
- Devas: Sudhamas, Viriddhas and Shatasankhyas; Indra is Shanti
- Sons: Sukshetra, Uttamaujas, Harisena and others

11. Dharma-Savani Manvantara:
- Saptarshis: Nishcara, Agnitejas, Vapusman, Vishnu, Aruni, Havishman and Anagha
- Devas: Vihamgamas, Kamaganas and Nirmanaratis; Indra is Vrisha
- Sons: Savarga, Sarvadharma, Devanika and others

12. Rudra-Savarni Manvantara:
- Saptarshis: Tapasvi, Sutapas, Tapomurti, Taporati, Tapodhriti, Tapodyuti and Tapodhana
- Devas: Haritas, Lohitas, Sumanasas and Sukarmas; Indra is Ritudhama
- Sons: Devavan, Upadeva, Devashreshta and others

13. Raucya Manvantara:
- Saptarshis: Nirmoha, Tatvadarshin, Nishprakampa, Nirutsuka, Dhrimat, Avyaya and Sutapas
- Devas: Sudhamas, Sudharmans and Sukarmans; Indra is Divaspati
- Sons: Citrasena, Vicitra and others

14. Bhautya Manvantara:
- Saptarshis: Agnibahu, Shuci, Shukra, Magadha, Grdhra, Yukta and Ajita
- Devas: Cakshushas, Pavitras, Kanishthas, Bhrajiras and Vavriddhas; Indra is Shuci
- Sons: Uru, Gabhira, Bradhna and others
