Meditation: I meditate on
Shiva-Parvati residing in Shiva Pura with ganas and family.

•
Shiva-Parvati residing in Shiva Pura with family and ganas: Near Rama Gaya, there is Shiva Pura, by the darshan of which sins get destroyed. Lord Shiva resides there along with Devi Parvati and sons Kartikeya and Ganesha. Also, the Shiva ganas reside there - Nandi, Bhringi, Riti, Tunda, Virupaksha and others. The Gandharvas, Kinnaras, Nagas, Yakshas, Kimpurushas, Siddhas and Rishiganas also reside in Shiva Pura. The Navanathas reside there performing Hatha Yoga and reciting the Aghora Mantra. Various sages also reside there. To the devotees who reside in Shiva Pura, Devi Parvati recites the Maha Mantra in their ears.
•
Sutapa muni performing penance in Shiva Pura: Sutapa muni performed penance there on the bank of river Karnavati. He worshipped the Mahamaya in Samadhi. Sometimes he consumed fruits and tubers, and sometimes only air and water.
•
Devi Parvati giving darshan to Sutapa muni: In very less time, Devi Parvati became pleased and appeared there. Devi told the muni to ask for a boon. The muni bowed down to Devi and recited various Stuthis. He asked the boon that there may be no obstacles to his works and he become the gana of Devi. Devi granted the boon. By the grace of Devi, Sutapa muni overcame kama, krodha, moha, lobha and mada, and attained Maha-Jnana (Spiritual Knowledge).
