Sri Krishna performing the dance of Rasa during Rasa Leela with the gopis in Vrindavana

Vrindavana: Sri Krishna performing the dance of Rasa during Rasa Leela with the gopis:

(Srimad Bhagavatam - Skanda 10 - 33)

Sri Krishna Raasa LeelaMeditation: I meditate on Sri Krishna performing the dance of Rasa with the gopis of Vrindavana.

Sri Krishna performing the dance of Rasa during Rasa Leela with the gopis: Sri Krishna performed the dance of Rasa during Rasa Leela with the gopis. The pastimes of Sri Krishna reached its climax with the dance of Rasa in Vrindavana. The gopis arrayed themselves in a circle. Sri Krishna multiplied Himself and individually danced with each gopi. The demi-gods watched the divine play of the Lord with wonder. They played various musical instruments and showered flowers from above. Sri Krishna danced and moved with the gopis, sometimes entering the waters of river Yamuna and sometimes moving within the forests. The gopis became completely engrossed with the love of Krishna, their mundane bonds of the world having broken. The night of the Rasa ended. Sri Krishna told the gopis to return home.
