Sri Krishna swallowing a forest fire.
•
Sri Krishna swallowing a forest fire: Sri Krishna swallowed a forest fire and saved the cowherd boys. One day when Sri Krishna was playing with the cowherd boys in Vrindavana, the cattle strayed off to a far-off place. Following the hoof-marks of the cattle, the cowherd boys reached a far-off forest. A forest fire engulfed them. The cowherd boys took refuge of Sri Krishna and prayed to save them. Sri Krishna told them to close their eyes, and then swallowed the forest fire.
