Vrindavana: Sri Krishna swallowing the forest fire:
(Srimad Bhagavatam - Skanda 10 - 17)

•
Meditation: I meditate on
Sri Krishna swallowing the forest fire which engulfed Vrindavana.
•
Sri Krishna swallowing the forest fire: Sri Krishna swallowed the forest fire which engulfed Vrindavana. After the Kaliya incident when Sri Krishna came out of the river Yamuna unharmed, the people of Vrindavana became extremely happy. Due to weakness from hunger and thirst, they spent that night on the bank of river Yamuna. That night, a great forest fire blazed within the summer forest of Vrindavana and completely engulfed the inhabitants of Vrindavana. The residents took shelter of Sri Krishna. Sri Krishna swallowed the forest fire and saved the residents of Vrindavana.
