Sri Krishna creating a wondrous environment by playing his flute: Sri Krishna created a wondrous environment in Vrindavana by playing his flute. It amazed the siddhas and the ladies travelling through the sky. It captivated the bulls, deers and cows of Vraja who stopped eating their food and held up their ears to listen to the music. It broke the flow of the river which waited for the wind to bring the dust of His Lotus Feet. It made the trees and creepers bow down with ecstatic love, and made their branches laden with fruits and flowers to gave out honey. It maddened the swarms of bees and captivated the minds of cranes, swans and other birds who meditated on Him in silence. It made the clouds offer Him shade and rained down flowers. It made Brahma, Shiva and Indra bow down to that music. It captivated the gopis and made them stand still like trees.
