Sri Balarama killing Dhenukasura in Vrindavana
Vrindavana: Sri Balarama killing demon Dhenukasura:
(Srimad Bhagavatam - Skanda 10 - 15)

•
Meditation: I meditate on
Sri Balarama killing demon Dhenukasura in Talavana.
•
Sri Balarama killing demon Dhenukasura: Sri Balarama killed demon Dhenukasura in Talavana. One day Sri Krishna and Balarama entered Talavana, a forest of palm trees which was protected by Dhenukasura and other ass-demons. Balarama shook the palm trees to drop the fruits. Dhenuka attacked Balarama with his powerful hind legs. Balarama caught hold of his hind legs and whirled him violently, thereby killing him. When the companion ass-demons attacked them, Sri Krishna and Balarama killed them all. The Talavana forest thus became free from the demons, and a place of enjoyment for the cowherd boys.
