Sri Krishna captivating the residents of Mathura

Mathura: Sri Krishna captivating the residents of Mathura:

(Srimad Bhagavatam - Skanda 10 - 41 to 42)

Sri KrishnaMeditation: I meditate on Sri Krishna captivating the residents of Mathura.

Sri Krishna captivating the residents of Mathura: Sri Krishna captivated the residents of Mathura who left their works to get a glance of Him and extended Him a hearty welcome. Sri Krishna punished an arrogant washer-man of the king who refused to give clothes. Sri Krishna blessed a humble weaver who offered Him clothes out of devotion. Sri Krishna then went to the house of garland-maker Sudama, accepted his hospitality and garlands of fresh flowers, and blessed him. Thereafter Sri Krishna cured the hunchback woman Trivakra, who offered fragrant oinments to Him, and made Her form beautiful again.
