• Meditation: I meditate on the Kapila Avatara of Lord Vishnu.

• Sage Kardama attaining self-realization: Sage Kardama took the vow of Silence (Mauna) and exclusively taking shelter of the Supreme Soul, travelled (like a Sannyasi) in the Earth without any associations. Sage Kardama attained the perception of the self as a calm Sea without waves by meditating on it without ego, without attachment and with equality of mind. Thus meditating on Vasudeva who is the Supersoul of everyone with devotion, sage Kardama became liberated from bondage. He began to see the Supreme Soul in all living beings. He got freed from Iccha (Attachment of Desire) and Dwesha (Attachment of Hatred) through Devotion and attained the state of the Devotee.
