Sage Kardama meeting sage Kapila and renouncing family life

Bindu Sarovara: Sage Kardama meeting sage Kapila and renouncing family life:

(Srimad Bhagavatam - Skanda 3 - 24)

Bindu Sarovara - Penance of sage KardamaMeditation: I meditate on the Kapila Avatara of Lord Vishnu.

Sage Kardama meeting sage Kapila and renouncing family life: Sage Kardama approached the Lord in a secluded place and eulogized him. Then sage Kardama asked the permission of the Lord to renounce family life and spend the rest of his life in full contemplation of the Lord. Sage Kapila told that the purpose of his incarnation is to explain the philosophy of self-realization to mankind which has been lost in the course of time. He told that he will impart this knowledge to his mother through which she will overcome the reactions of Karma and fear in life. Lord Kapila gave permission to sage Kardama to renounce family life and blessed him that by surrendering all his Karmas to the Lord he will be able to the self-effulgent Supreme Soul in the hearts of all living beings. Getting the permission of the Lord, sage Kardama circumambulated the Lord and left for the forest.
