Indradyumna reaching the shrine of Sri Bilvesha

(Skanda Purana - Purushottama Kshetra Mahatmya - 12 to 13)

• Indradyumna reaching shrine of Sri Kapotesha and Sri Bilvesha: On the second day the king reached Kapotesha and Bilvesha. Kapotesha was full of ponds and trees. Bilvesha was on the eastern side on the sea shore.

• Indradyumna hearing about Sri Bilvesha from sage Narada: Sage Narada told the legend of Sri Bilvesha to Indradyumna. Sri Krishna eulogized Lord Shiva there holding a Bilva fruit on his hand to get an underground passage to Patala to destroy the daityas. Lord Shiva became pleased and a passage became available. Sri Krishna went to Patala, vanquished the daityas and returned to Dwarka.
