• Meditation: I meditate on Kashi which bestows liberation.

• Lord Shiva creating Avimukteshwara Linga:
1. During a severe drought, Lord Brahma installed Divodasa as the king of Kashi.

2. At the same time, Lord Shiva left Kashi and went to Mandara mountain (as a boon to Mandara mountain for his penance).

3. Before leaving Kashi, Lord Shiva created the Avimukteshwara Linga.
