Gomati - Sagara Sangama

Dwaraka: Gomati - Sagara Sangama:

(Skanda Purana - Dwaraka Mahatmya - 8)

Devi GomatiGomati Sagara Sangama: I meditate on the holy Gomati - Sagara Sangama, where river Gomati merges with the Sea.

• A man attains imperishable position by taking a bath at Gomati Sagara Sangama in the months of Asadha, Kartika or Magha, offering libations of water to his forefathers, performing Shraddha with Havan and then giving donations.

• Shraddha at the confluence of river Gomati with the Sea provides inexhaustible satisfaction to one's forfathers.
