• Parashurama performing Ashwamedha Yagna: With the approval of sages, Parashurama performed an Ashwamedha Yagna. In that Yagna, the Adhvaryu was sage Kashyapa, Udgatr was sage Gautama and Hotr was sage Vishwamitra. In that Yagna, Parashurama gave away the entire Earth to sage Kashyapa except the Mahendra mountain.
