Lord Parashurama

• Meditation: I meditate on the Parashurama Avatara of Lord Vishnu.

• Parashurama offering libations to the Pitris at Gaya: Parashurama then went to Gaya and offered libations to the Pitris at Chandrapada and performed shraddha. The Pitris starting with sage Jamadagni came from Pitriloka. They told Parashurama to perform expiatory rites for killing the kings. They told him to shed his anger and not kill the kings anymore.
