2.1. Sabha Parva - Sabha-Kriya Parva (Chapters 1-4)

Ch 1: Mayasura and Sabha: Upon the command of Sri Krishna, Mayasura preparing to build a Sabha Bhavan.

2.3. Sabha Parva - Jarasandha-Vadha Parva (Chapters 20–24)

Ch 20: Going to Magadha: Sri Krishna, Bhima and Arjuna going to Magadha.

Ch 21: Sri Krishna and Jarasadha: Sri Krishna praising Magadha. They entering the city after breaking some barriers. Conversation between Sri Krishna and Jarasandha.

Ch 22: Sri Krishna and Jarasadha: Conversation between Sri Krishna and Jarasandha. Jarasandha agreeing to fight with Bhima. Tale of Sri Krishna's enmity with Jarasandha.

Ch 23: Bhima fighting Jarasandha: Fight between Bhima and Jarasandha. Jarasandha becoming tired.

Ch 24: Bhima killing Jarasandha: Bhima killing Jarasandha and releasing the captive kings. Sri Krishna going to Indraprashtha taking gifts. Sri Krishna returning to Dwaraka.


2.4. Sabha Parva - Digvijaya Parva (Chapters 25–32)

Ch 25: Pandavas and Digvijaya: The Pandavas starting for Digvijaya.

Ch 26: Arjuna and Digvijaya: Arjuna defeating many kings.

Ch 27: Arjuna and Digvijaya: Arjuna capturing many kingdoms surrounded by hills.

Ch 28: Arjuna and Digvijaya: Arjuna gaining victory over Kimpurusha, Hataka and Uttarkuru. Returning to Indraprashtha.

Ch 29: Bhima and Digvijaya: Bhima going towards the east and conquering many kingdoms.

Ch 30: Bhima and Digvijaya: Bhima returning to Indraprashtha with lot of booties.

Ch 31: Sahadeva and Digvijaya: Sahadeva conquering the south.

Ch 32: Nakula and Digvijaya: Nakula conquering the west.


2.6. Sabha Parva - Rajasuya Parva (Chapters 33–35)

Ch 33: Yudhishthira and Rajasuya yagna: Yudhishthira takes diksha for Rajasuya yagna on the instruction of Sri Krishna. Sending invitations.

Ch 34: Rajasuya yagna: Kings, Kauravas and Yadavas coming to Rajasuya yagna.

Ch 35: Rajasuya yagna: Description of Rajasuya yagna.


2.7. Sabha Parva - Arghabhi-Harana Parva (Chapters 36–39)

Ch 36: Sri Krishna getting agrapuja: Sri Narada glorifying Sri Krishna. By the approval of Bhishma Sri Krishna getting the agrapuja.

Ch 37: Shishupala defying: Shishupala defying this decision.

Ch 38: Shishupala defying: Yushishthira and Bhishma replies to Shishupala.

Ch 39: Shishupala defying: Sahadeva challenging the kings. Angry Shishupala and other kings getting ready for battle.


2.8. Sabha Parva - Shishupala-Vadha Parva (Chapters 40–45)

Ch 40: Yushishthira and Bhima: Yushishthira worrying. Bhishma consoling him.

Ch 41: Shishupala and Bhishma: Shishupala reviling Bhishma.

Ch 42: Bhishma and Bhima: Bhima becoming angry. Bhishma pacifying him.

Ch 43: Bhishma about Shishupala: Bhishma narrrating the birth of Shishupala.

Ch 44: Shishupala and Bhishma: Shishupala further reviling Bhishma. Bhishma challenging all kings to fight with Sri Krishna.

Ch 45: Sri Krishna killing Shishupala: Sri Krishna killing Shishupala. The Rajasuya yagna ends.


2.9. Sabha Parva - Dyuta Parva (Chapters 46–73)

Ch 46: Yudhishthira worrying: Yudhishthira worrying about the prediction of sage Vyasa.

Ch 47: Duryodhana and Sabha Bhavan: Duryodhana seeing the Sabha Bhavan and becoming object of laughter due to illusional aspects.

Ch 48: Duryodhana and Shakuni: Conversation between Duryodhana and Shakuni to win over the Pandavas.

Ch 49: Duryodana and Dhritarashtra: Duryodana telling Dhritarashtra about Dyuta. Dhritarashtra sending Vidura to Indraprastha.

Ch 57: Vidura and Dhritarashtra: Conversation between Vidura and Dhritarashtra.

Ch 58: Yudhishthira in Hastinapura: Conversation between Vidura and Yudhishthira. Yudhishthira going to Hastinapura and meeting everyone.

Ch 59: Yudhishthira and Shakuni: Conversation between Yudhishthira and Shakuni about game of dice.

Ch 60: Dyuta kriya: Start of the game of dice.

Ch 61: Dyuta kriya; Yudhishthira getting defeated: By the trick of Shakuni, Yudhishthira getting defeated in every game.

Ch 62: Dyuta kriya; Vidura warning: Vidura warns Dhritarashtra.

Ch 63: Dyuta kriya; Vidura opposing: Vidura strongly opposing the game of dice.

Ch 64: Dyuta kriya; Duryodhana reviling Vidura: Duryodhana reviling Vidura and Vidura warning him.

Ch 65: Dyuta kriya; Yudhishthira losing all: Yudhishthira losing all in the game of dice.

Ch 66: Vidura reviling: Vidura reviling Duryodhana.

Ch 67: Dushshasana bringing Draupadi: Dushshasana bringing Draupadi in the Sabha by pulling her hair. Draupadi questioning everyone.

Ch 68: Chirharan of Draupadi: Rage of Bhima. Arjuna pacifying him. Karna opposing the rightful talks of Vikarna. Chirharan of Draupadi. Sri Krishna saving her. Vidura trying to make the Sabhasada oppose this citing the example of Prahlada.

Ch 69: Draupadi and Bhima: Draupadi lamenting with warning and words of Bhishma.

Ch 70: Duryodhana and Bhima: Speech of Duryodhana and expression of rage by Bhima.

Ch 71: Vow of Bhima: Speeches of Karna and Duryodhana. Vow of Bhima. Warning of Vidura. Draupadi getting boon from Dhritarashtra.

Ch 72: Yudhishthira pacifying Bhima: Yudhishthira pacifying Bhima who tries to attack the enemies.

Ch 73: Dhritarashtra returning all wealth: Dhritarashtra returning all wealth to Yudhishthira and sending him back to Indraprashtha.


2.10. Sabha Parva - Anudyuta Parva (Chapters 74–81)

Ch 74: Duryodhana and Dhritarashtra: Duryodhana telling about the power of Arjuna to Dhritarashtra. Telling him to bring the Pandavas once again for dice. Dhritarashtra agreeing.

Ch 75: Gandhari and Dhritarashtra: Gandhari warns Dhritarashtra. Dhritarashtra disagreeing.

Ch 76: Dyuta kriya; Yudhishthira losing everything: Inspite of others opposing, Yudhishthira again playing game of dice and losing everything.

Ch 77: Vows of Pandavas: Dushshasana slighting the Pandavas. Bhima, Arjuna, Nakula and Sahadeva taking vows to destroy the enemies.

Ch 78: Yudhishthira taking leave: Yudhishthira taking leave of Dhritarashtra. Vidura suggesting to keep Kunti with her. Telling Pandavas to remain established in Dharma.

Ch 79: Draupadi and Kunti: Draupadi taking leave of Kunti. The citizens becoming filled with sorrow.

Ch 80: Pandavas consoling citizens: Pandavas consoling the citizens. Conversation between Dhritarashtra and Vidura. Dronacharyacharya removing the worries of the Kauravas.

Ch 81: Dhritarashtra and Sanjaya: Worry of Dhritarashtra. His discussion with Sanjaya.
